Northcote Private School is a unique school located in Oniipa, Ondangwa; whose staff is committed, always on task and walks the talk.
We have been committed to our vision since our school’s inception in 2013 where we opened with only 44 learners in our lower primary (grades 1 to 4) to date we have an enrolment of 441 learners in total. Our vision is to strive to be a centre of excellence that provides holistic education to ensure that our students are equipped with skills that will enable them to excel both nationally and globally.
The driving force behind our success story is our Motto: Always Excelling.
We are thus compelled to provide meaningful and effective education for enhanced and quality academic abilities to our students preparing them to be useful and meaningful global citizens. We strive to mould talent and skills in our individual learners and teams in various artistic and sporting disciplines for leisure and serious business.
Our school community is heterogeneous in nature, accommodating learners from across Africa and from Europe. We have achieved and maintained our stardom academically from the year 2013 to date. Our school, individual learners and the teachers have scooped awards and accolades year in year out; at Circuit, Regional and/or National levels. With the cohesion and expertise vested in our staff we have also managed to compete at Regional and National Science Fair Competitions and attained gold and silver medals.
We follow the Namibian national curriculum which we strengthen up with materials and resources from the British curriculum. English is our medium of instruction from pre-primary to grade seven with Afrikaans and Oshindonga provided as Second Languages concomitantly. We offer high specialized computer studies. Our year begins in January and ends in December.
We have an environment crafted with style and high safety standards for learners and all key stakeholders. All in all, we are geared to produce citizens who shall behold and showcase the following strengths through academic and extra-mural activities as being:
